Air Freight (Courier)
Air freight (courier) costs are determined based on either the gross weight or the volumetric weight of the shipment, whichever is greater.
Volumetric weight, sometimes referred to as the volume ratio (1:6), considers the amount of space the package occupies. This means the charge is based on either the physical weight or the space required for transportation, depending on which one results in a higher cost.
Formula for Calculation: Volumetric Weight (kg) = L x W x H of the packages (cm) / 6000
*Note that dimension in decimals will be rounded up to the nearest whole number, and weight will be rounded up to the nearest 0.5kg or 1kg.
