Sea Freight (LCL)
LCL (Less than Container Load) Sea Freight rates are determined based on the shipment's gross volume or weight, with charges applying to the greater value. If the weight-to-volume ratio exceeds 500 kg per cubic meter (CBM), the weight becomes the determining factor for the rate.
For volume calculations, the largest rectangular dimensions of the package are used. Measurements are taken from the outermost points, and the dimensions are rounded to the nearest whole centimeter. The final volume is then rounded to the nearest 1/10 cubic meter. For multiple packages, each volume is rounded individually before being summed up.
Formula for Calculation: Volumetric Weight (CBM / m3) = L x W x H of the packages (cm) / 1000000
*Note that dimension in decimals will be rounded up to the nearest 1 decimal point whole number.

Sea Freight (FCL)
FCL (Full Container Load) Sea Freight is suitable for high-volume shipments, FCL involves dedicating an entire container to one client’s goods. It is often more economical than LCL when shipments fill at least half the container and provides greater reliability for scheduled deliveries.
